Quality issues in youth work, contact making event for youthworkers. Contact making event ''NGO atlas'' took place in Latvia, Gulbene region, from 14 - 21 of March, 2015. Gathering decision makers, youth workers and key staff members from non governmental organisations of 18 different countries from Europe, Balkans and Caucasus

''NGO atlas'' contact-making event gathered 40 youth workers, decision makers and leaders from Latvia, Belarus, Estonia, Russian Federation, Romania, Lithuania, Greece, Albania, Ukraine, Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, Kosovo, Turkey and Georgia in order to work on the main aim of project: quality improvement of follow up and dissemination processes of Erasmus+ youth projects. Main contact-making event activity of ''NGO atlas'' project  took place in Ranka region, Latvia and lasted for 8 days. Non formal learning methods was applied, such as workshops, team building activities, discussions, group work, outdoor activities, idea development for further cooperation etc.


During the project participants got to know youth organizations from different parts of Europe and develop wider international cooperation network.


Participants Increased their level of skills for project and quality management and were inspired and motivated to develop new projects within Erasmus+ programme. ''NGO atlas'' main activity gave chance to explore, exchange and discuss different ways on how to improve cooperation between NGO's from various regions. Important topic also was to increase participants knowledge and awareness about importance of delivering the project results to the target groups.


Project partners worked together to innovate methods and tools for improvement of follow up and dissemination processes. Representatives of 18 countries worked together also to develop concept of ‘’NGO social network’’ and increase participants digital competences. Result of this cooperation can be seen at www.ausma.me, where all youth workers, organisations and youngsters can register and share information. Development of ausma.me still continues after the ''NGO atlas'' project has successfully finished.


Overall, during the ''NGO atlas'' project youth workers had an opportunity to establish new partnerships, discover weak points in their current project management processes and worked on solutions.

You can already register and set up your organisation`s profile that can be used as a free website already @ ausma.me (online platform for NGO's and youth to share information, develop ideas and involve/inform youth in various activities, will be developed further and have various useful tools)
